Keep Anima present
Summon your Anima and travel to a harvestable plant. Ordinary scenery plants are not valid; the plant must support Anima communication.
Anima Profession I
Awaken your Anima’s ability to speak with Startree-touched plants, then gather their gifts across the field.
At a glance
Harvesting lets your Anima communicate with certain plants and collect their materials. These ingredients feed Cultivation, Cooking, quests, and trade.
The level 11 chain below is the only way to learn Harvesting. It also teaches the interaction you will use every time after that.
The awakening path
Offer the Amoena Flower at your race’s sacred altar and reunite with your Anima. Every profession needs an Anima, so this comes first.
Enter the Atrium, press F11 for Anima Mode, and find Cepa. Take his recommendation to Healer Habiaria at Natura Asylum. A Terasil Gate can take you there.
From Natura Asylum, go south to the shore near the Enclave of Habitation. Find a Red Mane Grass plant touched by Startree energy.
When the valid plant is approached, your Anima begins communicating and asks whether to harvest it. Accept. A Rage Ghost Jellyfish appears; defeat it, then collect one Red Mane Grass and return to Habiaria. The quest reward teaches Harvesting.
In the field
Summon your Anima and travel to a harvestable plant. Ordinary scenery plants are not valid; the plant must support Anima communication.
Near an eligible plant, the Anima prompts you to harvest. You may also press F11 and control the Anima directly.
Approve the request and allow the animation to finish. The material is placed in your inventory if space is available.
Where it is usable
Harvesting is a field profession, usable wherever a valid communicable plant is placed. The first node you will meet is Red Mane Grass on the shore south of Natura Asylum. Later quests identify other harvest-only materials, such as Harshwind Warmgrass in Obedient Woods.
| Place | Example plant | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Shore near Enclave of Habitation | Red Mane Grass | Level 11 tutorial |
| Obedient Woods | Harshwind Warmgrass | Level 70 quest ingredient |
| Any valid field node | Startree-touched plant | Craft and quest materials |
If nothing happens
Your harvesting chance depends on intimacy, your Anima’s advice, profession proficiency, how difficult the node is, and any premium bonus. Failed attempts are part of the system; raise intimacy and proficiency rather than assuming the node is broken.
