Anima Profession VI
The sixth pathMining
Mining is the sixth Anima profession. You learn it at the Ice Mine, from the level 64 quest Do You Know Mining? After that your Anima can drill ore in mining areas.
How to learn it
Taught by the Ice Mine quests
Mining lets your Anima drill ore in designated mining areas. You learn it by completing [64] Do You Know Mining?, the sixth quest in the Ice Mine chain below. The chain starts with Manager Mosetian and can be taken from level 62.
Each quest opens the next. Do You Know Mining? appears once Unusable Digging Tool is done.

- [64] Let’s Fix the Refiner
Manager Mosetian sends you to Item Merchant Zebrina in Himes for Refiner Parts.
- [64] Raw Ore delivery
Take the Raw Ore Box from Miner Gordon and carry it to Branch Manager Allen in Himes. Five Masked Robbers ambush you on the way. Defeat them, then finish the delivery.
- [64] Stubborn Old Man
Allen asks you to return to Ice Mine and speak with his father, Miner Gordon.
- [64] Preparation for Retirement
Carry Gordon’s Old Digging Tool to Manager Mosetian.
- [64] Unusable Digging Tool
Miner Kutook hands you the Old Digging Tool and asks for 20 Ore Fragments from Radiant Stones. The tool breaks after 5 Ore Fragments, and that is enough to finish the quest.
- [64] Do You Know Mining?
Take the Disabled Digging Tool to Miner Gordon. He hands back a Normal Digging Tool. Return it to Miner Kutook. Completing this quest teaches Mining for good.
- [64] Retire 100 Years from Now
Bring Gordon’s decision to Manager Mosetian, then meet Branch Manager Allen to close the story.
What you need
A drill
Mining uses a drill as its tool. Item Merchants in most towns sell the Low Grade Digging Drill in packs of 5 or 200. Without one, the game tells you "You do not have a drill."
Where it works
A mining area
Drilling only works in designated mining areas. Anywhere else, the game tells you "You cannot Mine in this Area." With a drill in your bag, use the Auto Mine icon to start.
